Isabelle Côté-Cohen

Isabelle was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and lived there until she was 33. She then moved to NY. She is bilingual speaking both French and English. She is a Daughter, Sister, Friend, Soul Seeker, Wife, Mother, Pisces, Manifestor, Empath, Healer, Mover and Shaker! She is an outdoor lover that enjoys spending time with her family, meditating, reading, cooking healthy foods, snowboarding, skiing, hiking, stand-up paddling and nice zen walks on the beach.

Isabelle has been a Vinyasa and Kripalu Yoga Teacher since 2001 earning her 500-hour YTT certificate.  Growing up dancing she enjoys facilitating yoga-dance so participants can access the healing and magical effects of letting go. She is a certified Thai Yoga Bodyworker which is a wonderful modality that restores balance and harmony in the being, it’s a journey of self-discovery to experience. She has additional certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Children’s and Teens yoga as well as Aerial Yoga.  She has trained with various lineages and teachers that aids her in bringing a seamless eclectic flow to every class she teaches, choosing the right tools for the right time for her students in a loving and nurturing way.

Living a natural and healthy lifestyle, she became an Essential Oils wellness coach seven years ago so she can empower people to live a happier, healthier, and safer life with the help of essential oils.

Finally, her latest certification received in 2018, she has become a Chopra Center Primordial Sound Meditation teacher. This healing practice allows us to discover our true authentic self.  It’s an inside job!  She credits this tool as a huge part of her own physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing over the last year and a half as she has faced various health issues and is humbled and excited to be able to share all her tools with you.

Craig Cohen

Craig is Isabelle’s husband, father, CPA and entrepreneur, yoga practitioner, meditator, tennis player, snowboarder and surfer. He has moved to Nosara with his family in 2019 where he can further his pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.  He has gone through his own healing journey having beaten Lyme disease naturally and with the wonderful aid from his loving wife, Isabelle.  He has been guided by Isabelle and joined her in the passion for using essential oils as their primary medicine along with healthy foods and overall healthy lifestyle. He feels lucky to often participate in Isabelle’s classes and even joined her in getting aerial yoga teacher training.  He is looking forward to helping make this retreat truly an amazing experience for all.
